When I open network preferences and go to wifi, initially it shows some very odd things - for example, under status, it shows >.Yet, if I run Wifi Explorer Lite, it easily picks up the 4 wifi networks broadcast by my modem/router - main and guest 2.4 GHz networks and main and guest 5 GHz networks. The only wifi network the iMac will connect to is my main 5GHz network.

They are mostly minor but together are annoying, sometimes incovenient and together indicate, in my opinion, a deeper problem. I have a whole series of wifi problems on my iMac.
